Dubai Hills Estate is gated, so anyone coming to your home, a guest, a contractor, or your agent, has to be cleared through security. The quickest way is to register them in the Emaar One app, which issues a pass, usually a QR code, that they show at the gate. Here is how to do it, and how to get your agent in when you want a valuation or a viewing.
The Emaar One app
Emaar One is the official community app for Emaar communities, including Dubai Hills Estate. It is free on the App Store and Google Play, and alongside gate access it handles service requests, amenity bookings, payments and community notices. You sign in against your unit once, and after that a visitor pass takes a minute.
Creating a visitor pass
Open the app and go to the visitor or guest access section. Add your visitor's name and the date or time window of the visit, and, if you are expecting a car, the vehicle details when asked. Generate the pass and the app issues an access code, normally a QR code, for that person.
Share the QR code with your guest. They show it at the community gate and are let through. Register visitors ahead of time where you can, as it is faster than sorting access at the gate. If you would rather not use the app, guest access can also be arranged at the security gate or through the community portal.
Letting your agent in
To have an agent visit for a valuation or a viewing, the simplest route is to add them as a visitor in Emaar One exactly as you would any guest, with the date and time you have agreed. They receive the pass and use it at the gate.
For some viewings the community may ask for a no-objection certificate for that specific visit, which the owner or the agent arranges through the community management office rather than the app. If in doubt, invite the agent as a visitor first, and I will tell you if a formal permit is needed for your cluster.
Access cards for residents
Resident and vehicle access cards are separate from visitor passes. You apply for or renew them through the community portal, by logging in and choosing access cards, and cards can also be arranged through the Emaar One app. Keep your own card to yourself; a visitor should always be registered rather than handed your card.
